OMG i think i just got ripped off buying my snowboard gear! HELP?
well i just came back from Sports Junkie and bought the women’s snowboarding package for about $335 dollars.
the guy picked out an Atlantis board (men’s….like wth, but it’s has girly designs on it) and it was marked down to $150 brand new.
boots are vans for about 80 bucks
bindings are..slms? the recipt says it’s burton, i dont know. they’re 70
i just went online and searched some reviews for atlantis boards and they arent good! oh no! did i just totally got ripped off?
i’ve started snowboarding this year and i just recently learned how to carve..a bit so not really a beginer but defin. not advanced yet.
please tell me your thoughts!
That’s what you get for shopping for a snowboard at a consignment store. It’s the stuff that didn’t sell at another place. It’s there for a reason.
It’ll probably be good enough to gain some more experience on, but you’ll most likely want to get something better after next season.
